Kings Canyon

Kings Creek flows through Kings Canyon, which is an impressive natural amphitheatre in the George Gill Range (named by explorer Ernest Giles after a friend, Fielder King, and brother-in-law George Gill). Different types of limestone can be seen in the canyon's 100-metre sheer cliff faces. The canyon was used by the Aboriginal (Luritja) people for hunting and ceremonies.
